Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated expertise in operating and maintaining industrial machinery, with a strong capacity for identifying and resolving technical issues - and a passion for learning.
- Quick learner with the ability to utilize standard methodologies and tools to effectively solve problems.
- Proficiency in disassembling, repairing, and reassembling equipment/machinery, employing various tools and equipment such as lifts, cranes, hoists, and both hand and power tools.
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in MIG and stick welding is essential.
- Additional experience in TIG welding and brazing will be advantageous.
- Skilled in carbon arc gouging and torch cutting.
- Knowledgeable in techniques involving pre-heat, post-heat, and use of dual shielded wire.
- Experience in welding large, heavy, fabricated assemblies is critical.
- Prior experience with track burners will be considered an asset.
- Competency in using all forms of hand tools and power tools is beneficial.
- The ideal candidate should possess a Class C driver's license, demonstrate independent problem-solving skills, and exhibit a strong commitment to quality work.
- Compensation will be aligned with the candidate's skill level and experience.
